It’s true! Lately every time I visit Wellington, notorious for its less than hospitable climate, the sun comes out and shines radiantly on our nations harbour capital (I got that phrase from the air hostess last night).
Skeptical? Check the photographic evidence:

I am now beginning to worry that if I was to move to Wellington it would cause some kind of catastrophic change in Wellington’s climate. Flora and fauna would face localised extinction, farmers in the greater Wellington region would have to deal with extreme drought, crops would fail, and the pasty Wellington locals, so used to protecting their skin from the extreme cold and rain, would blind tourists as they took to sunbathing and frolicking in their swim wear on Oriental Parade.
Were La Nina and El Nino also people that cause climate change? If so, are they still around? Is there some kind of support group I can attend?
I feel that my gift is something that I should share with the world. To that end, I am putting my services up for hire (much as Cynthia is).
If you are having an event in Wellington that would benefit from good weather I would be more than happy to make myself available for a modest fee, plus expenses.
I have adopted a method of contact similar to that of my childhood hero (Batman). To get in touch shine a torch directly at the sun.
