In past years I have spent weeks mulling over some meaningful and important New Years resolutions, and like most people they lasted anything from a few hours to at most several days. Last year I decided I would have no resolutions, which I have since decided was a bit of a cop out.

So this year, for the record, I have made the following broad, sweeping, generic and suitably vague resolutions:

  1. Exercise more (more = 3 times a week)
  2. Eat better, and in order to do so, learn to cook better
  3. Make better use of my time and do more things
  4. Reduce my environmental impact

That’s it. How long will it last? No idea, probably not long, but so far so good.

Oh, I almost forgot the last one: Write less boring blog posts.

How’s the pumpkin seeds going anyway?

I had some the night before last and woke-up with an intense gut pain… Did a five minute fart when I got out of bed. Kept farting the whole day at work too, little ones, but others seemed to notice.
