My soon-to-be new home, Vancouver

Things have gotten awfully quiet around here lately, but there is a good reason for it. Felicity and I have been furiously planning and scheming about our forthcoming move to Vancouver.

It will probably come as no surprise to anyone that has talked to me since I came back from my 5 week adventure around BC last year. I fell in love with the country, the people, and the lifestyle up in Vancouver, so it seemed inevitable that I would be headed back at some point for an extended period. Luckily Felicity didn’t take much convincing that coming along for the ride was a good idea.

Having said that, I am really going to miss all my wonderful friends and family here in NZ. You guys all rock.

So I have been busy the past few weeks selling all my worldly possessions, and making sure I get out and enjoy my last few weeks here in my beloved home country.

I am off on June 19, and after a exploring the west coast of the US we will be setting ourselves up in Vancouver around a month after that. I can’t wait.

If you are based in Vancouver (or know someone who is) and you would considering hiring an experienced marketer who is particularly good at web/digital stuff from little old New Zealand I would love to hear from you.

And I want to do the following things before I am 27:

  • Run a half marathon (conveniently the Auckland one is in November)
  • Visit at least one country I haven’t been to yet
  • Skydive
  • Deliver on at least one of my ideas (cause the execution is the hard part)
  • Write at least 52 more quality version3.0 posts. Ones that you actually want to read

There, now they are written down it should be harder for me to pike on them. Progress updates to follow.
